One of my goals for 2019 is to plan more intentional date nights with AJ. While we were dating and pretty much up to having our daughter we would frequently try out new restaurants around town. In fact, the day my labor was induced, we went to a restaurant right across the street from the hospital for one last baby-free meal together.
These days time and energy are harder to come by, but that doesn’t mean we have to forfeit nights out altogether. In fact, we got a few restaurant gift cards for Christmas which is the perfect excuse to line up a baby sitter and get out of the house for a couple hours!
I wore this outfit on Christmas Eve, but I think it would also be the perfect special date night look this winter!
Sizing: Fits true to size, but be warned the neck is TIGHT. Like, you will have to jump around your room trying to get it on. Probably a good idea to wait to do your hair and makeup until after you get dressed. It’s adorable once on, though. Just be careful not to snag the lace on any clasps, etc. I’m wearing an XS.
This is one of my favorite staple items ever. It’s perfect to wear under low-cut sweaters, sheer tops, or with your favorite summer tank.
Sizing: Fits true to size.
I wasn’t sure if I would love this look or be brave enough to rock it, so I didn’t want to spend a ton. Pairing higher quality pieces with less expensive items is one way I try to save some money on looks that I probably won’t wear often. This Forever 21 dress is the perfect inexpensive complement to this outfit.
Sizing: True to size, but it’s definitely roomy. I’m wearing a S.
I LOVE my these boots and believe they are an essential winter wardrobe staple. I’m eyeing up some tan ones, but the black are a perfect to pair with leggings, jeans, and short skirts and dresses.
Sizing: I’m wearing my true size (6).
Where are you planning your next date night? 🙂
